It's that time of year for teachers: Back to School shopping
I know after 19 years in the business that this mostly means stocking up on classroom supplies from the big box stores and teaching speciality stores. But what about buying something new for yourself? Yes, yourself, not your classroom or your students but yourself. Teachers are giving people and they tend to spend most of their time doing things for others. When was the last time you bought yourself a new skirt? Blouse? Necklace? I believe that one of the best ways to have a good day at school is to feel good about how you look. Think about the last time you bought yourself something new for your wardrobe. Pick out something special for the first day of school. The students will have something special, why shouldn't you? I'll be posting my outfits for each day of the year. Hopefully it will inspire teachers to take some time to do something for themselves. Remember when you look good, you feel good!
